My Project Life by Stampin' Up! arrived today!

If you are already a Stampin' Up! demo you can pre-order the goodies NOW, or if you're not a demo you can sign up as one (contact your current SU! demo for more information - or if you don't have one yet, feel free to ask me any questions you may have by emailing me at stampwithjulie@aol.com) OR you can begin ordering your very own kit as a customer through any Stampin' Up! demonstrator on MAY 1st!

I have lots of photos here, if you want to see one bigger, just click on it! :)

A sampling below of the 4x6 cards:

Here are the configurations of the pocket pages!

You also get 4x4 cards, here is one side of them:

Here is the other side of them:

And here's a shot of the Everyday Adventures box with the core kit, the accessory pack goodies, and my pens  - they all fit so nicely! First, let me just tell you that while I adore everything this kit came with, I LOVE the little box it comes in! It will hold your entire kit, accessories, pens, photos, etc. in one little box right there! If you are someone who does a lot of scrapbooking at crops, this will come in SO handy!

Here's a picture of the entire accessory pack. Notice there is also a roll of washi tape (in my favorite color!) AND cute circle epoxy dome stickers!  Inside there were 4 different die-cut 3" x 4" cards!
You also get a sheet of these cute little clear plastic accessories. LOVE the banners and arrows!
Cardstock stickers! Four sheets of them.  Then there are wood cuts and arrow clips. How cute are these?

Here is a sampling of the 3x4 double sided cards:

I can't wait to see what other Project Life kits will be available in the new catalog! If you want a catalog, feel free to contact me for one when they come out! So excited to plan a series of classes using these items!

Project Life ~ Stampin' Up! Style

Have you heard about Project Life?
It is a fairly new method of scrapbooking.
It was started by Becky Higgins back in 2009 but has really taken off the past couple of years due to the simplicity of it. I love it because it is so much quicker and easier than traditional scrapbooking.
Instead of creating a 12x12 layout from scratch, you use pocket protector pages.
Inside these pages you insert your photos, journal cards and filler cards (patterned paper with or without embellishments). You can basically create whatever theme you want or need if you have paper, a paper cutter and a corner rounder.
I am totally addicted to it!
Now, you can buy pre made kits in the craft stores, but I wanted to create something with my favorite Stampin' Up! products. It is so easy to do. For these 2 pages, I cut some of the new Sweet Sorbet DSP (FREE with any $50 order ~ it's a Sale-a-bration item) into 4x6 and 3x4 pieces and inserted them into the corresponding pockets. I added my photos, journaled a little about the pics and then added some wash tape and some cute embellishments that were cut with my punches.
Soooooo easy and very quick to put together!
I even stamped a sentiment from the "Feel Goods" stamp set to complete my layout.

See the little banner in the center square below?
That was stamped with the Remember This & That Rotary Stamp.
Perfect to record dates and phrases that are applicable for your layout!

I am so excited about this new way of preserving memories that I am offering a class this Saturday where I will be teaching you how to use your favorite SU supplies to create your own quick and easy layouts!

You will go home with 3 double sided layouts for a total of 6 pages to add to your book!
The cost for this fun class is just $12.75.
I will supply everything needed, you just need to bring your adhesive, corner rounder and a journaling pen or marker.

Another card from class

Here is another card that I designed for my "From The Heart" class this month.

I had to use the Heart Framelits because it just went so perfectly with the sentiment from the stamp set, Cuddles & Kisses. The footprints are from Baby Prints. I decided to use a neutral color combo of Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, So Saffron and Crushed Curry for the card, so it can be used for either a boy or a girl.  The striped DSP is from Watercolor Wonder.  The embossing folder used is Decorative Dots and I added just a little bling for the embellishments with our Silver Shimmer Paper punched with the Itty Bitty Heart Punch.

I used the same layout to create baby cards for my shops and they are selling very well! I think those cute little baby footprints just win people over.

Cycle Celebrations

Here is another card from my February class, "From The Heart".
This sweet little card features the Cycle Celebrations stamp set, which is a happy little set that I love so much.  It also features the Build-a-cupcake punch, which I HAVE NEVER USED BEFORE!!
Can you believe that??
I finally broke down and took the wrapper off of it and created this card for class.
I love the cupcake punch because you can do so many things with it that are not cupcake related.
I've seen the frosting used as clouds and the cupcake bottom used as a purse, and I will be trying these techniques soon, now that I have finally broken my punch in....LOL

The color combo for this card is Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Raspberry Ripple and Summer Starfruit.

So Very Grateful

Here is another card I designed for my "From The Heart" Paper Craft class this month.
I used a new stamp set from the spring catalog: So Very Grateful.
I love this stamp set because the images in it are perfect for watercoloring.
I stamped the image on our luxurious watercolor paper using Stazon and then colored it in with a blender pen and Calypso Coral and Pistachio Pudding inks.
I absolutely LOVE the new Hardwood background stamp!
I used it for the background on this card.  Love the look of green wood.
The coral twine is part of a 3 pack of thick, colored twine that is available as a FREE Sale-a-bration gift.  This project was a class favorite and after sharing it on Stampin' Connection yesterday, I learned that it had been pinned to Pinterest 25 times in just a few hours.
That tells me that it is a cool design.
Nothing like a little Pinterest love to make a girl feel good!
