New In-Colors and gifts!

Here is a sneak peek project that I made using the outgoing Artistic Etchings stamp set (one of my all time faves ~ I will never part with it) and 3 of the new 2013-2014 In-Colors. This projects was featured at last weekend's Spring Fling 2 event and our stampers loved it! The color combo is Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana and Smoky Slate!   Love, love, love the new colors and this shade of gray stamps BEAUTIFULLY and compliments so many colors.  Also featured are the new Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder and the Quadrafancy DSP.  This picture does not do justice to either.  This embossing folder impression is beautiful from either side.  The coordination DSP is so bright and cheery and just makes me happy!  Did you notice that cute little label over to the right? That is the new stamp set "Label Love" and I punched it out with the coordinating Artisan Label Punch.  I also used these two items to create the gifts that I gave to our guests (see below).

Also, how about that oval frame? Got the idea from fellow California demo, Patty Bennett...you can find the instructions here: Patty Stamps Blog.  It is a great technique using 2 of our most popular framelits.  Check it out!

Here are the super simple but super cute tags that I made for my stampers and check out the cute little tin that I decorated to hold them! I got these tins a few years back at convention and I have been hoarding them ever since, not wanting to part with them, but these tags fit in them perfectly so I knew I had to share them with my favorite girls!

I think that these tags would make a great class project, especially if you have a really cute container to put them in!  Check out the one below that I decorated for them:

The DSP is more of the new design, Quadrafancy and the sentiment in the center of the flower "Made just for you" is from a stamp set that came out last year and will carry over to the new catalog.  It is called Creatively Yours and is perfect for handmade projects and includes the SU! trademark stamp which complies with the SU! angel policy, so you can use it if you are selling your handmade projects.  Here is what the set looks like:
This set sells for just $18.95 and is item# 122610.

I hope my extra long post did not bore you today, but I just had so much to share.  Stay tuned for more projects from our recent Spring Fling 2!

Until next time ~

Let's Scrap! Gathering

Last Saturday morning I had my first gathering that was specifically geared toward scrap booking and it was GREAT! We had a small group but it was so much fun!  Here are the two projects that we created:

I chose the Designer Series Paper from Sale-a-bration 2012 because it went really well with my photos, it is just so beautiful AND it is on the Clearance Rack right now for just $2.19!!  I knew the girls would like it and they did....sold 3 packs of it!

Here are what the patterns look like and you get 12 double sided sheets for just $2.19!
Get it while it's still there! I have provided the link below!

I asked my scrappers to bring what they were working on and Janice shared her scrapbook with us...and it really motivated me to get busy on mine! She completed her 2012 book using pages like these:

These are our Divided Page Protectors and they make preserving your memories sooooo easy! I ordered mine and am so happy I did, because when I saw Janice's book, I knew I could get a lot done in a short amount of time.  Here is more on info:

Beautiful Butterfly!

Here is the card that I promised to share earlier this week.  I just LOVE the vellum butterfly heat embossed in silver.  These images are from Papillion Potpourri.  If you like butterflies as much as I do, you will love this set because it coordinates with our 2 butterfly punches!  The color combo for this card is Pink Pirouette, Brushed Silver and Very Vanilla.  Don't you just love the Pink Pirouette/Rose Red ribbon? It is so lunch and ties beautifully.  The DSP is from Fan Fair and the die cute window was made using the Apothecary Accents Framelits.

Spring Fling Projects/Gifts

Here are my projects from our Spring Fling class a couple of weeks ago.  All of them are my original designs except for the card directly below, which was a CASE from Chiaki Haverstick of Stampingpro.com.  I loved her layout but I changed the DSP to a current product.

These drink mix packets were my gift to our stampers.  I used the Petite Pocket and Fun Flower Dies for the Big Shot to create these.  They were inspired by some tags that I created a few weeks ago and that I will share in a later post.

This is a close up of the magnetic clothespin that I designed and our stampers loved!  I have made many clothespin magnets in the past few years for the shops thatI sell in and they have always been a hot item so I thought it was about time to show my stampers how to make one :)

Until next time ~

Pretty Paper Creations Class pics!

A few weeks ago I had my Pretty Paper Creations Class which featured 4 cards made with elements of the Artisan Embellishments Kit.  The top and bottom cards were cased from Pinterest and the 2 middle cards were my original designs.

The kit makes it sooooo easy to come up with pretty, vintage cards! I love the resin flowers that are included in the kit and I am crossing my fingers that we see more of those in the next Annual Catalog!

Until next time ~
