No Cards Today.

Sorry, but I have no cards to post today. I have spent the better part of the day cleaning out my craft area. What a mess. I added some new shelves, so hopefully this will keep me more organized. I am also putting the finishing touches on my gifts and prizes for my very first Hostess Appreciation Night. I hope all of my stamp club members like what they receive. I have to keep it a secret for now, but I will post my little creations the day after my party (which is April 12th). Hope you all have a great week!

Something for you local stampers!

Here is the other card

Cards I made last night

Here are two cards that I made last night. The 4 x 4 cards is for my first SCS swap called "Swap for first time Swappers". The larger card is one I made just because I like the look of the Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi in the Spring Silhouttes Designer Series Paper. I used my fave stamp set, Kind Thoughts, cirle and scallop punches, Dazzling Diamonds (of course!) and brads from the new Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware set. The ribbon on the smaller card is Mellow Moss Taffetta and the larger is Very Vanilla Grosgrain. If you notice, the smaller card has a quarter of a Carousel Note attached to the front. It was dry embossed and hole pierced with the Pick a Petal Classy Brass Template. I CASE'd this super idea from Patty Bennett's Blog (you can find the link under Fabulous blogs that I stalk). Let me know what you think about the designs.
Sunny California is not so sunny today. Looks like it is going to rain today. We had great weather last week, but of course the weekend has to be rainy. Guess I will just stay in and stamp, since both of my girls are glued to their Nintendo DS video games. I will post my creations later. Have a great Saturday! Hope it is sunny where you are.

My cousin Kaylee, is she not the cutest baby ever?

I just cannot stop posting!

Since I have figured out this morning how to post to my blog, I just cannot seem to stop! Here are a few more cards that I have made. Hope you like them.

Lindsey and The City!

Here is a photo my daughter, Lindsey, snapped on her trip to San Francisco with the Art Club. Not bad! San Francisco is her fave place to be so I thought I would share this with you.

Welcome to my blog!

Hello everyone!

My Name is Julie and Iam a total stampaholic/blog stalker so I thought that I would combine those 2 freakish traits of mine(lol) and start my own blog. There are so many gorgeous stamp blogs out there so please be patient with me as I will be tweaking mine as I go along.

The first thing I should mention is that I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, so you will probably only see projects made with SU! supplies on this blog. I truly believe that they produce some of the finest stamping supplies in the industry, and since I am a demo, I feel that SU! product is what I should be working with (except for my moments of Bella weakness) but that is for another post!
Anyway, here is a birthday card that I made for my dear friend Tia last month, and I loved how it turned out, so I mass produced it for one of my swaps at the Oakland SU! Regionals in February. Supplies are as follows:

One of a Kind Stamp Set
Pretty in Pink, Basic Black, Whisper White CS
Pretty in Pink, Basic Black, Certainly Celery, Pink Passion Ink
Certainly Celery 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon
Ticket Corner Punch, White Gel Pen, Zig Silver Painty Pen

Rock and Roll Stamping Technique (stamp rubber in lighter color, then just roll edges in darker or contrasting ink)

Hope you like it!
