Holiday Wreath Card

Here is another card from my Ginormous Stamp-a-stack class. The wreath on the card is made by masking a circle in the center of the white cardstock by using a post it note punched with the
1 1/4" circle punch. I then took two of the stamps from "Pocket Silhouettes" and alternated stamping them in a circlular pattern. This card was also a favorite. The color combo on it is Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, and Mellow Moss. I added a bit of glitter to the wreath and a bow made of Choc Chip 1/4" grosgrain ribbon. The words are from "Many Merry Messages". This card, as well as the one I shared yesterday are also available for sale at Unique Boutiques, located at 1016 McHenry Avenue in Modesto.

A great card idea from Stampin' Success

Here is a card idea that I got from last month's Stampin' Success, which is the cool magazine that demonstrators receive every month from SU! This card was originally a holiday invitation but I changed it to a Christmas card. I love the color combo of Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black and Brushed Silver. The featured stamp sets are "Serene Snowflakes" and "Teeny Tiny Wishes". I really like nontraditional Christmas cards and I think this falls into that category. We made this card at my Ginormous Holiday Stamp-a-stack a few weeks ago and it was a favorite. I will share more cards made at that class and my Just Cards ~ Express Holiday card class as well. Let me know what you think!

Happy Thanksgiving!
I just want to tell all of my stamping friends how grateful I am to have you in my life. To my upline, downline, stamping sisters and all of my customers, which have become my friends, thanks for being you and bringing so much to my life. My passion for stamping has brought you to me and for this I am thankful.
Enjoy your turkey day and the time with your families.

Big Shot Quilt

I thought I would share a picture that I took while in Utah for the Stampin' Up! convention in August. This is a beautiful quilt that was made with the help of the Big Shot. It makes quilting so much easier when you can punch the shapes out using your big shot. Our Scallop Circle, Flower Fold and Beautiful Butterflies Dies are just a few that add fantastic touches to your handmade quilts. Enjoy!

More Bags for Unique Boutiques

Here are a couple more bags that I made to sell at Unique Boutiques. These are larger bags (8x10) and feature some of my favorite SU! items. The one above is stamped with the "Chic Boutique" stamp set and features Christmas Cocoa DSP. I also added some Black Grosgrain Ribbon, which is one of my favorite kinds of ribbon.

The bag above features Cottage Wall DSP, sentiment from "All Holidays" and butterflies from "Dreams du Jour". I also added some Olive Olive Grosgrain ribbon in 2 sizes.

Bags to sell at Unique Boutiques

Taking a break from Stamp Camp photos today.
Here are a couple of the bags that I recently made to sell at Unique Boutiques.
These are smaller bags that are perfect for jewelry, candles or bath and body products (all of which you can find at Unique Boutiques).
All of our bags come with a handmade gift tag and matching tissue. They range in price from $2.00 to $4.00 which I think is a deal. You will also be able to find our bags and tags at the upcoming holiday shopping party called "Black Saturday". This is a fun event that will take place in Modesto on Saturday, November 28th (the Saturday after Thanksgiving, hence the name "Black Saturday). There will be lots of vendors, prizes, great food and a lot of cool gift ideas. Keep watching your email and my blog for more details.

More scenes from Stamp Camp

Here are a few more door prizes. Love the faux leather clutch purse, but I cannot remember who made it. The box with the chocolate covered pretzels was made by Ruby. How cute is that box?

Here are the cards from Ruby's display board. This set is called "Autumn Days" and not one of my favorites, but now I want it after seeing Ruby's creations. Here are a couple more up close:

The one below is my favorite. Ruby brayered Rich Razzleberry ink onto our Bride Specialty Paper for the rich look on the background for the card above.

I hope you are enjoying the scenes from Stamp Camp. If you are interested in attending the next one, it will be in February. We will feature Sale-a-bration and Spring Mini Catalog items.

More scenes from stamp camp

Here is my friend Renee, the good witch! She was getting into the Halloween spirit with her cute hat. She is an awesome demonstrator and a really neat person.

Here is the project that Ruby demonstrated. It was very popular and you can see why. It was so beautiful but very simple to make. How do you like her little card holder? It was perfect for the event. I will be sharing more of her display cards in later posts. This was the first time Ruby participated in the Tracy Stamp Camp and she did an awesome job. Love ya, Ruby!

This was the only shot that I got of the door prizes that I made. I did not go with a holiday theme but instead based mine on "Moulin Rouge". I used the Chic Boutique stamp set and red and white flocked paper from Christmas Cocoa DSP. This is a Fancy Favor Box with 3 gift tags inside and I got a lot of good reviews on it, so I will definitely make it again.

This is a fabric brooch that Beverlee made using the Big Shot. We learned how to make this project at convention, it was originally designed by Shelly Gardner, the founder of Stampin' Up! It looks really cool on this denim jacket.

Scenes from Stamp Camp

Here are some shots from our Holiday Stamp Camp that we had a few weeks ago. I will be posting some each day this week. Pictured above from left to right are: Kathy, Diane and Beverlee. Kathy and Beverlee were getting into the holiday spirit with their fabulous hats.

This is a cake that Beverlee made with these wonderful hat boxes that she picked up at Ikea on our way back from convention. I knew she would make something wonderful with them and she did. Look at those fabulous rosebuds and butterflies, all created with the Big Shot dies that are available only from Stampin' Up!

This adorable project was featured in Niki and Lorraine's display area and thanks to Lorraine I just found out Niki created it. Those chocolate chips are actually punched from one of our punches. How smart is that?

Here is BFF Ruby and our good friend Kathy. Ruby did an awesome job with her project (I will share later this week) and Kathy made a wonderful prize patrol! I will share our door prizes with you as well.

Chic Boutique Birthday

Hello friends!
It has been a while, but I am back. I have so many exciting things going on in my stamping world right now, which I will share with you this week, but first I want to share this card that I designed for the October Stamp Tramp stamp club meeting. How do you like this? This is one of my most favorite cards of all time. Everything just fell together so perfectly. It features the following stamps: Chic Boutique, Teeny Tiny Wishes, En Francais and Note to Self. The colors are Very Vanilla, Pretty in Pink, Basic Gray and Basic Black. I also cheated a bit on this one and added some Pink Piroutte cardstock, which has since retired. The punches featured are: Curly Label, Scalloped Oval, Scalloped Edge and Small Oval. Accessories are: Black Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Clear Rhinestone Brads and Dazzling Diamonds, of course. This card is also available for purchase at the fabulous new shop, Unique Boutique in Modesto. It has been selling well for me so I will definitely be making more for our space. Well, that is all I have time for now, but I will be back later with some stamp camp photos as well as the entries that I received for my card contest.
