Spring Splendor card share, day 3

Here are Diane's cards from Spring Splendor.   Don't you love the rockstar (Jon Bon Jovi) in purple? Love the sticky strip glitter technique too.

Here is the Melon Mambo Strawberry card that features Tart & Tangy, an all time favorite stamp set.    This was a super easy but super cute card for our guests to make and they really liked it.
Great cards, Diane!

More Spring Splendor Cards!

These adorable cards were demonstrated by my dowline and friend Julie C. and she did an awesome job!  One thing that we don't make enought of are guy cards and these are perfect.  Love the woodgrain on the tool card and the embossed stars on the rocket card!  Great job, Julie!

Spring Splendor projects!

Here are the 2 projects from Saturday's Spring Splendor that were demonstrated by Ruby Johnson.  Is this not one of the most gorgeous wedding cards that you have ever seen?  Ruby always comes up with great ideas for cards and this one is even more beautiful in person.  The onesie card was another favorite and sooooo simple to make.  Great job, Ruby!  More cards to share tomorrow....

Spring Splendor Share!

Hello my stamping friends!
I have some projects from our Spring Splendor event to share with you all this week.  I took these pictures today because my camera was not working at the actual event yesterday, so I only have pictures of the projects not of the people or displays, which is a bummer, but at least you can see the projects.  Our guests loved their projects and the prizes.  We gave away about 15 stamps sets, punches, DSP packs and Decor Elements and then our Grand Prize basket had over $175.00 worth of product in it as well.  That was an awesome prize and congratulations to our winner, Linda!

The above gable box was the project that I taught and it was a great way for our guests to take home all of the wonderful cards that they made.  I actually had 3 different styles to choose from which included the following stamp sets: "Simple Friendship", "Chic Boutique", and "Always".  The one pictured here features "Simple Friendship".  I chose to use Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Orchid Opulance for the colors of my project because that seems to be a popular favorite.  The stampers got to choose from different Texturz Plates and Embosslets to decorate their boxes as well as ribbon and DSP designs.  I want to give a big thanks to my particpating demonstrators, Julie C., Barbara, Ruby and Diane for all of their hard work and outstanding project designs.  You all did such a great job!  I will share each of their projects ths week.

Another downline swap card!

Here is another swap card from my downline meeting, this one made by my newest team member, Julie C.  She is so stinkin' creative and I love the simplicity of this card paired with the dramatic bow.  This Pumpkin Pie and Very Vanilla striped ribbon is gorgeous!  Her shamrock is made with our newest heart punch.  Great job Julie!

Yet another downline swap card...

I absolutely LOVE this card!  This was Barbara's swap for our recent meeting and it was a favorite of everyone.  Love the color combo!  If you are attending our Spring Splendor event this Saturday, you will be making this card!  For more of Barbara's work check out her blog: Crafter Bobbie.  I am so proud to have so many talented paper crafter's on my demonstrator team.  I will share another tomorrow!

Another Downline Swap

This one was made by Shelley and I love the bright colors.  A great display of 2 of our Sale-a-bration products: Good Neighbors Stamp Set and Welcome Neighbor Designer Series Paper Pad.  Great job, Shelley!  You can check out more of Shelley's work on her blog: Stampin' By Design.

Another downline swap!

Here is another swap from my recent downline gathering.  This card was made by Ruby Johnson, who was my very first recruit.  I cannot believe it has already been a year and my little demonstrator family has grown from just me and Ruby to include 5 more girls!  Ruby is very talented and this card shows it.  If you like this card it is also available for purchase at Unique Boutiques, 1016 McHenry Avenue in Modesto.

Downline Meeting Swap

This is the swap that I made for the meeting that I hosted for my downline a few weeks ago.  I used Vintage Vogue and I love how you can make a really cool background pattern with the vine and flower stamps.  I will share the rest of the swaps over my next few posts.

Spinner Card from Stamp Club

This is one of the Stamp Tramp Stamp Club projects from our February Gathering. I had a request from my friend Julie to make a spinner card.  I had a whole new group in stamp club that had not made one before, so I made that one of the projects.  This cute little guy features "Fox & Friends" stamp set and "Tall Tales" Designer Series Paper.  I thought it would be cute to make my little monkey friend look like we was swinging thru the trees.  There is a great tutorial on SplitCoastStampers on the basic construction of a spinner card.  You can check it out  HERE.  Gotta keep tonight's post short, I need to prep for tomorrow's workshop.  I am on vacation starting RIGHT NOW, so I will be doing lots of stamping this week which means MORE projects to share with you.  Catch ya later!

Card #4

Here is my final project from my Downline Gathering Night.  It also features "Vintage Vogue" stamps and the gorgeous Bashful Blue Satin Ribbon.  Not only is this project what my girl's made for our gathering, but it is also the featured Hostess Gift for my workshops this month.  Carol Card (that is right, her last name is Card...lol!) is hosting her workshop this Saturday and she will receive this boxed set of cards as her gift for booking with me.  Any of her guests that book their own workshop or private class will receive this as well, so if you are interested in hosting a workshop, let me know.  This gift can be yours too!

Scrappy Card!

Here is card #2 from my downline project.  This card is made up of scraps.  Ribbon and card stock is all it takes.  Punches are a great way to utilize your scraps.  I did use the vine stamp from "Vintage Vogue" to stamp on the piece of grass as well as the flower.  Punches used were: 1" circle, 1 1/4" circle, scallop circle, large fancy flower and scalloped square.  I also used the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions folder with the Big Shot for the embossed background.  Color combo is Certainly Celery, Kraft, Choc Chip and Bashful Blue. Hope you like it.  Let me know what you think!

Card for yesterday's box

Here is card #1 for the downline project that I shared yesterday.  I used "Vintage Vogue" and "Whimsical Words" stamp sets, Chocolate Chip card stock, Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon, Choc Chip & Whisper White ink, and Playground Buttons.  Such a simple but sweet card.  I will share another from this collection tomorrow.

Downline Meeting Project

A few weekends ago I held my first downline meeting for my Stamp Your Dream Team.  I invited all my girls over for pizza and dessert, idea sharing, swapping and stamping.  We had so much fun!  This was part of the project that I designed for them to make.  We made the box with 4 cards inside (which I will share over the next few days).  This project features the "Vintage Vogue" stamp set and the color combo of Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery.  We used the following punches: Scallop Circle, Large Fancy Flower, 5 Petal.  We added Kraft Cordouroy Button or Brads and some ribbon.  I will also share the swaps I received over the next few days as well.

Card #4 from Saturday night's class

This card idea came from an awesome fellow demonstrator named Patty Bennett.  I am sure most of you have heard of her.  This project is a total CASE of her card which you can see here: Patty's Card.

This card features the following products: Two Tags Big Shot die, Oval punch, Whimsical Words SAB set, Happy Moments SAB set,Welcome Neighbors 6x6 DSP Pad, Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Melon Mambo Ink, Blender Pends.  The color combo of the card is Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Certainly Celery.

Card #2 from Saturday night's class.

This simple yet sweet little card was so easy to create.  I just love the little owl from the "Fox & Friends" stamp set.  The designer series paper is from the "Sweet Pea" Stack, which is 48 double sided sheets of sheer cuteness!  Probably one of my favorite items in the Spring Mini Catalog.  The words are from the brand new Level 1 Hostess Set, "Picture This".  Adorable phrases with cute little images replacing words.  You can get this set FREE by hosting a Private Class or Workshop.  We will also be giving a couple of these away at our upcoming Spring Splendor Event on March 27th.  Here are some swatches from the Sweet Pea Stack so you can check it out for yourself.

Card #1 from "Stampin for the DeLay Family" Event

If you joined me last Saturday night for my class to raise money for the DeLay Family, then this card will look familiar!  This is my favorite card from the evening.  This project was inspired by a similar card made by another stamper and for the life of me I cannot locate her name.  When I find it, I will add it to this post.  I changed a few of the elements and the sentiment but it is the same layout.
I absolutely love this color combo of Bermuda Bay, Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery and Old Olive.  I sponged the edges of the cardstock and DSP with Close to Cocoa.  The DSP is from the Sweet Pea Stack and the stamp is from the Chic Boutique stamp set.  I added the coordinating Bermuda Bay Polka Dot ribbon and the bird from the new punch, Bird on a Branch.  The Old Olive piece was punched with the Eyelet Border Punch.  Markers of the same color combo were used to color the image.

I want to thank everyone that attended on Saturday (Diane, Brenda, Tonia, Sarah, Susanna and Megan).  It means so much to me to have such caring, generous friends.  I also want to thank my good friends Gerry, Tia, Dave, and Veronica.  They could not join us for the event but generously made a donation to the family.  Thanks to my Dad, Shelley and Sandra as well, they sent their checks directly to the family. You all warm my heart and make me proud.  All together we raised over $200 which will be given to the family in a handmade card, of course.  I will share the rest of the projects over the next few days, so come back soon!

A big welcome to my newest team member, Julie C!

I am so happy to announce that I have a new team member and here she is.  Her name is Julie Chavez and she is awesome!  She started out as a customer of mine but I could quickly see that she would be a great demonstrator.  She is very sweet, talented and so smart and I am so glad that I met her.  She has already added so much to our group and it is a joy to know her.  Here is a picture of one of the projects that she brought to the demo meeting I had a few weeks ago.  How darling is this?  It actually had chocolates inside!  I love how she used punches to create her images instead of stamps. I know I don't have any stamps for St. Patrick's Day, but I do have these punches, so thanks to Julie for sharing such a great idea!  It is great to have you as part of my team!  You can check out more of Julie's St. Patrick's Day creations at her new blog:

More Happy B-Day Cards

Here are the last 2 cards from the "Happy B-Day" Class.  The picture below shows all of the cards as well as the box.  This was a fun class and my stampers got to see how verstatile the Simply Scrappin' Kits are and how great our tabletop cutter is!

Cards from my Happy B-day class

Last week I shared a sneak peek of my "Happy B-Day" card class, and here are a few more of the cards.  The girls had a great time learning how to turn part of a Simply Scrappin' Kit into a cool card box with 8 cards inside.  With just a few buttons, brads and some ribbon, you end up with some really cute birthday cards for your loved ones.  Enjoy!
