Hi stampers, busy week, not much time for chat, but I wanted to share this card. This is our Level 2 Hostess Set called "Wings of Friendship" and I just love this bird image. The color combo is Basic Black, Certainly Celery and Whisper White. Catch ya later!

Here is one of our Stamp club projects from Saturday. It is a Mini Scrapbook made with clear envelopes. We used the "Messages for Mom" stamp set from the spring mini as well as the Fancy Flower Punch. The color combo is Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Orchid Opulence and Whisper White. The girls loved the project and tomorrow I will share the matching card that goes with it.

No projects to share today. I still need to photograph the cards from last night's workshop and today's stamp club gathering, plus the ones that I have been making for the new shop. I did want to share with you something I found in my inbox today. Fellow demonstrator Dawn Olchefske created a cool comparison chart that shows the differences between our 5 new basic colors and our current colors. Click here to check it out and be sure to leave her a comment of thanks!

Here is another card with a vintage feel. I feel like that is all I am inspired to make lately, but that is okay because I LOVE VINTAGE! This card was inspired by one that I saw on the Stampin' Connection, made by Barbara Dondero. I love the background image, which is from "Friends 24~7". The scallop image is from the great SAB set, "Vintage Labels". I had a few of these butterflies laying around my craft table so I added one of those as well. It was made with the Beautiful Wings Embosslit for the Big Shot. The color combo for this card is Kraft (soon to be called Crumb Cake!), Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, and Very Vanilla. I sponged the edges with Close to Cocoa, which we will be saying goodbye to in June :( I will never get rid of my Close to Cocoa because it is perfect for distressing cards. I am so glad that I have 2 shops to sell my cards in, because I can still use my retired colors! Well, I must go finish off the current batch of cards that I am working on, I will share later in the week!

Well, it is 2:28 am and I cannot sleep so I thought I would post my blog pic for today. This card was inspired by a card made by my friend and downline, Shelley. I loved the use of these bright colors with the vintage style of the stamp set, my latest go to set, "Chic Boutique". The color combo is Old Olive, Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry. I used the Eyelet Border Punch as well as the Scallop Trim Border Punch and Modern Label Punch. There is a strip of Razzleberry Lemonade DSP, Crushed Curry Polka Dot Ribbon and a Square Ice Rhinestone Brad. I put a few of these cards at Unique Boutiques to match some of Shelley's bags. Today will be a very busy day for me as I churn out a bunch of cards for Vintage Market as well as prep for my next workshop, which is on Friday night. April has turned out to be a very busy month for me! WooHoo!

Love the "Chic Boutique" stamp set! Here is a card that I made recently to "audition" for a new shop opportunity. This Eiffel Tower image is always a great seller and I usually do it in pink and black but I thought I would go bolder this time. Great news: it worked! I am very happy to say that my cards will now be featured at Vintage Market in downtown Turlock. I absolutely love that shop and was hoping that I could get in. I will be sharing a rack with my Unique Boutique partners, Ruby and Shelley. I am hoping that sometime in the future we can obtain a larger space so that more of my demo team can make and sell their beautiful creations as well. We hope to get our cards in by the 18th of this month, so if you are downtown for the Taste of Turlock event on May 1st, make sure you stop by the shop and check it out. They have such unique and gorgeous items for sale. You can also view their Facebook page here:

Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red, Pacific Point Blue, Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi, River Rock....remember these awesome previous In-Colors? Guess what, they are back and will be part of an exciting new color collection that will be available from Stampin Up in July! Because SU listens to it's demonstrators and YOU, our customer, they have brought back the most popular In Colors and have streamlined our core color collection as well. AND we also get to keep Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Soft Suede!! WooHoo! So many exciting collections to share with you and SO MANY ways to get these colors. Keep watching for more info!

Here is a card that I made with leftover scraps from a recent Stamp Club. I fashioned a birdhouse out of Rose Red Cardstock and used the Eyelet Border Punch to make the roof. The birds and branches came from our Bird and Branch Punch, which I love! I topped it of with a flower from the Sweet Pea Felt Flowers, another favorite of mine. I made this card for my rack at Unique Boutiques. Soon, you will be able to find my cards in a new Turlock location! I will share more info on that later, as well as some very exciting upcoming events for April and May...... Stay tuned!

Here are a couple of chocolate bunnies for you! I love this stamp that is featured in the back of our Spring Mini Catalog. After Easter has passed, I will use it in white to make vintage baby cards. Both of these projects were inspired by ones that I saw on The Stampin' Connection, which is an online community specifically for SU demos. I changed the design up a bit on each to add my own twist and the basket was one of the projects that I featured for our March Stamp Tramp Gathering.
I would like to wish a very Happy Easter to all of my friends, family and customers and hope that you are spending time with your loved ones as am I. My family and I (including hubby's parents and mine) will be going to Toscana's Ristorante here in Turlock for Easter Brunch, which is the best around. Can't wait to get my hands on their Eggs Benedict!

Here are the final 2 projects from Spring Splendor. These were designed and demo'd by Barbara and she did an awesome job. It was all about the butterflies and you know how I love butterflies! These cards were the perfect designs for spring and showcased some of our most popular new products, such as the Sweet Pea Designer Paper Stack, Satin Ribbon, Beautiful Wings Embosslet and so much more.
Outstanding job, Barbara!
