Have a Holly Jolly Christmas!

Here is the first of 8 projects from our "It's A Mega-Merry Christmas" Class.
I have been dying to create my version of the Mrs.Claus dress. I had seen a few on Pinterest but wasn't entirely fond of each of them as a whole, just bits of each card....LOL...so I decided to come up with my own. This is actually a case of one of my previous stamp club projects, except it is a Christmas card instead of a birthday card.  I just thought that the Red Glimmer Paper would be perfect for the dress.  The scalloped collar is made from a piece that I punched with the 1 14"circle scallop punch and then ran through the Big Shot with the dress framelit. I used a whisper white scrap for the white trim on the botton, then embossed it with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing folder.  The background is the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder and the words are from the Tags 4 You Stamp Set/Punch bundle. I used the mini postage stamp punch from the Little Labels Punch Pack to create the belt buckle. The DSP circle is from the Neutrals DSP stack.
The color combo for this card is Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White.

This card was super easy to make and a hit at class.
Until next time ~

Pretty gifts for my ladies...

Last night was my "It's a Mega Merry Christmas" Class and we had such a GREAT time! My guests got to create 8 super cute holiday projects and they just loved all of them. I will share them over the next several days but today I am sharing the little gift that I created for them.  I had a bunch of our Stamp 'n' Store containers sitting around and thought I would put them to good use. I had this idea to use our Frosted Finishes Embellishments on bobby pins for a cute hair accessory for the holidays.  These are perfect stocking stuffers for those gals in your life that like bling.  I got these special bobby pins that have a little metal disc attached which was the perfect spot to attach the embellishment with Crystal Effects.  You can buy 100 of these bobby pins on Etsy for around $5.00, which is a way better price than the big box craft stores.

These embellishments are only $6.95 for a container of 12, so you can make 6 pairs of these for less than $1.50 each and then package them up for just pennies.  Perfect to make for gifts or craft fairs.  I used our Blossom, Boho Blossom and Pansy Punches to create the flower embellishments for the top of the container and our Circle Framelits to line the lid, and inside of the container.  Don't you love how our Metallic Silver Paper looks when ran thru the Big Shot with the Pretty Prints Embossing Folder.  So elegant!

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time ~

Gettin' Crafty For The Fall Project #6

How cute is this guy?
He is our final project from our recent fall class. He is made from the Top Note and various punches and has a small brown paper bag attached to the back of him so he can hold all kinds of treats!  His hat is also made from the Top Note and a piece of Sweater Weather DSP.  Perfect for your little Halloween Ghouls or even to put at each place on your Thanksgiving table.

Well, I must get back into the craft room to finish up my projects for this weekend's double header.  I have my October Stamp Club Gathering on Saturday at 1pm and then the first in our Christmas class series, It's a Mega-Merry Christmas, which sold out yesterday! I will be sharing those projects next week!

Until next time ~

Gettin' Crafty For The Fall Class Projects #4 & #5

Here are a few more projects from last month's fall class!
These were designed and demonstrated by my teaching partner, downline and BFF, Ruby J.
She got us in the Halloween mood with this fun creepy crawly card that featured some new Washi Tape. And I love the harvest card below, so rustic and beautiful!

We still have room for 2 in our next holiday class, It's a Mega-Merry Christmas!
You won't want to miss the 8 awesome projects (cards, treat bags, gift card holders and tags) and all of the exciting goodies that we will be giving away!

Gettin' Crafty For The Fall Project #3

Here is my final project from last month's fall class.  I pulled out an old favorite, "Lovely As A Tree". I paired it up with a plaid print from the Sweater Weather DSP and the birch paper from the Thankful Tablescapes Set.  The Thanks sentiment is from my favorite photopolymer set, Another Thank You.  The banner shape in which I stamped the word on is actually a framelit from the Circle Framelits set.  The textured label die cut was made using the Pretty Pints Embossing Folder.  The color combo is Natural White, Soft Sky and Early Espresso.  Not your typical fall colors, but I like them.

Until next time ~
